About the collection...
The simple details of our curation.
Alongside the ever-present activities in-game, many of Converge's
members enjoy other aspects of the fantasy genre of which WoW
as a game is a part. Fiction is a popular medium and the guild
has developed a tradition of producing various works of fiction
to complement or extend their in-game experiences.
One of the most prolific and popular of these forms that has
developed over the past couple of years is the "Boss Kill"
story - works of creation that in some way recapture or
dramatise those moments when the guild achieves raiding success
by overcoming a new in-game boss for the first time.
The range of material is varied, stories are ever present in
short, medium and long formats but there are also examples
of poetry and song lyrics amongst the other entries and some
work listed here has even been published on
WoW.com,
reaching a potential audience of millions of readers.
Therefore, we invite you to grab a nice large steaming mug
of coffee, pull up a comfy chair and settle down to explore

well known visitor destination in the popular Serpentshrine
Caverns Vacation Resort, where Wolfish had just recently
begun to work as a security guard.

"Boogie Boogie Boogie - The Robot Rests In Peace!"

Responding to the cries for help from lovable Granny
Wilberforce, Converge learned that her beloved
Metal Mickey had gone seriously off the rails, refusing to
continue to do the bidding of the Wilberforces. Instead, he
apparently had run off and thrown his lot in with a bunch of
dodgy sorts somewhere in the Netherstorm.
With Granny's plea to "make him see sense and put a stop
to his wild ways", our team set off into the Netherstorm
following his trail of destruction and mischief from one
side of the zone to the other, until the trail led us inside
Tempest Keep's "The Eye".

There's something weird in the neighbourhood, if you live
near the Scarlet Monastery at least. As Hallows End approaches,
rumour abounds of a new peril threatening
those that venture into the famously haunted graveyard.

Converge despatched it's own team of hotshot ghostbusters to
the scene where the following documentary film was recorded.

"Looks like you're about to get pwned!"

Local history was made when Karamazov, Converge's holiest of priests,
became the first member of the guild to reach the landmark level 70.
Responding to enquiries asking how he managed it so quickly, he
replied...
"Basically, I just spent the past 10 days killing boars.
65,340,285 boars to be exact. It was supposed to take about
seven weeks but thanks to the phenomenal respawn rate here
in the Outlands, things went much faster than I honestly
expected."
Luckily, a guild photographer was present throughout to capture this
historic achievement and you can now enjoy the spectacle for yourself
through this once-in-a-lifetime publication.
